If you’ve glanced over at my photo, you might notice a funny moment captured in Iceland. That's me, standing in front of the famous airplane wreck on the black sands, donning a garbage bag as a jacket and my camera wrapped in a shopping bag. Yes, I forgot my jacket, but that didn’t stop me from pursuing my passion for photography in any condition.

I’m Thanujan Balan, a freelance photographer and videographer with a versatile portfolio that spans people, pets, nature, and more. Born in Montreal and raised in Malvern, Toronto, my journey with photography began in elementary school when my father gifted me a Sony Camcorder. I used it to record funny skits with my friends, igniting my love for creating media content. Once I picked up my first official camera, everything changed.
